Maria Sharapova celebrates her fall collection in New Cole Haan

Last night, the New Museum in New York, took tennis goddess Maria Sharapova a break from training for the upcoming U.S. Open to celebrate the launch of its latest collection of Cole Haan.

The festival, by Christopher Bollen Interview magazine and the photographer organized / Blogger Todd Selby, Lorenzo Martone also attended and a lot of fashion editors.

During operation of the guests munched on rates and offer a silent auction with artwork by Selby, Sharapova was in the room a look Aztec Suno mini dress and a pair of sandals worked fall air laced black Swan 2010, she helped design.


StyleList: She worked with Cole Haan some time. How do you work with your brand?
Maria Sharapova: Very funny. I work with great people, talented and a real opportunity to share my thoughts on the designs. I traveled a lot and I love to see different places and go, the style and street fashion in different parts of the world. It is truly inspiring.


SL: What is special about this collection?
MS: It is energetic and playful and elegant. It is really a reflection of my lifestyle performance and functionality. They are great works of necessity.

SL: Do you have a favorite piece in the collection?
MS: I love the veal dish. All they use apartments. We started with one and now we have 10 different colors, so it is exciting.

SL: How are you preparing for the U.S. Open?
MS: I train in the morning and execution. Its pretty boring now. The U.S. Open is one of my favorite times of the year. It's fun and I love playing here, I am pleased.
